I truly hope wallpaper never goes back out of style! It is such a fun way to add character and personality to your home. When my mom asked me to help her wallpaper her powder bathroom, I was more than willing to help. The bathroom is a pretty standard powder room, small enough to fit a pedestal sink and a toilet.

What type of wallpaper to use in a small room?
For smaller spaces, I recommend a wallpaper with a larger design or a simple design. This will prevent the room from feeling overwhelming and busy. You may also want to pick a lighter color as it will make the room feel bigger and brighter.

Powder Room Reveal

The wallpaper used in this powder room is the Island Palm Wallpaper from Serena & Lily. I was able to find it at my local Serena & Lily outlet for less than $100 per roll! This powder room required 2 rolls to cover the half walls.
We also DIY’d the board and batten on the bottom of the powder room. The color was color-matched to the darker blue in the wallpaper from Sherwin Williams.
This coastal bathroom is cheerful and airy!
