Whether you’ve inherited vintage crocks like me or you are lucky enough to find them thrifting, they are great to add to any type of home decor. Crocks are versatile in use and design.
My ceramic crocks were passed down from my grandmother. They sat in my closet for years until I finally decided to pull them out and do something with them! I share my favorite tips for how to style antique crocks in any home.
Where to find old crocks?
True antique crocks can be found at thrift stores, yard sales, eBay, and Facebook Marketplace. You can also buy ceramic crocks now that look old from Amazon!
Decorating with Vintage Crocks Ideas
Below I share some of my favorite ways to use crocks in my home. You don’t need to have farmhouse style to use a crock within your decor either! These items are so versatile!
1. Fill the Crock with Faux Stems

Lately, I have loved decorating with crocks by adding greenery inside of them! As you see above, I took a larger crock and added faux eucalyptus stems that I purchased from Amazon.
To keep the stems in place, I filled the bottom of the crock with packing material. Instead of using a floral foam block, this was my free way of achieving the look, which would work just as well!
2. Style Crocks Above Cabinets
If you have space above your kitchen cabinets or large furniture pieces, display your crocks on top of them. Mix and match different pieces to achieve the look you want!
I have crocks styled with other ceramic pieces, such as ginger jars and large vases, above my kitchen cabinets.
3. Use as a Utensil Holder

This one might be my favorite! Use a ceramic crock to hold utensils in your kitchen. I use a larger crock to just hold everything or you can mix and match several smaller ones to hold different utensil types.
Overall crocks are a timeless decor piece that can be added to any home style. Look for crocks on your thrifting trips or at resale stores and add them into your daily decor!
