- Hot glue gun
How to Make a Dollar Tree Tree Collar
Start by putting a dab of hot glue on the bottom edge of the tree collar. Place one end of the rope and hold in place on the glue until it dries.
Continue placing a line of hot glue along the edge of the tree collar and wrap the rope around. Hold the rope in place until the hot glue dries. Repeat adding glue and holding the rope along the tree collar, wrapping it all the way around.
Once you get to the top of the tree collar, finish it off by adding a dab of glue on the inside of the collar and hold the rope in place. Cut off any excess rope.
That’s it! Add a mini tree in your DIY Dollar Tree tree collar and place in your home. I love how this adds a coastal look to Christmas decor!!
