This post is all about how to build a blanket ladder for beginner DIYers.
A blanket ladder is such a fun idea to store and display your cozy blankets in any room! This is an easy and cheap DIY project if you’re just wanting to test out using power tools. Check out how to make a blanket ladder below!
Materials to build a blanket ladder:
- (2) 8ft. 2x4s
- (1) 8 ft. 1×4
- Wood stain
- Screws
Tools to build a blanket ladder:
- Drill
1. Measure your desired latter height (mine is 6ft!). Use a straight edge on the bottom to get an angled cut.
2. Cut ladder rungs into your desired width. The rungs in my ladder are 12 inches.
3. Use a brush and an old rag to stain the wood pieces.
4. Use screws and a drill to put your pieces together! Mine rungs are at a 45-degree angle, each 12 inches apart.
5. Add your blankets!!
Total cost: $15
