Salt Dough Handprint Ornament Recipe

Ingredients for Salt Dough:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 1/2 cup warm water
Salt Dough Recipe Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees.
- Mix ingredients and knead into a dough.
- Place dough between two pieces of parchment paper and flatten to 1/4” with a rolling pin.
- Cut out your desired shape with a cookie cutter.
- Add your hand
(or paw
) print! Don’t forget to add a small hole for the ribbon.
- Bake at 200 degrees for 90 minutes, or until golden.
- Paint, add ribbon, and make it your own, then hang it on your tree!
I used a gold paint pen to write names and year on them.
